competed many times at the prestigious Bundessiegerprüfung. In 1994,
he took second place in Karlsruhe, Germany with his dog Packo, scoring 96-93-99
=288 points. Since then, he has participated in numerous championships and
Bundessiegerprüfungs, and has served as a member of many German teams,
in national and international competition. He consistently places very high
in such competitions.
He is the founder of the OG Pahlen Schutzhund Club and presently serves as
President, Training Director and club helper. Mr. Flinks is well known to
German and American Schutzhund enthusiasts, having presented numerous working
dog seminars here in the United States and in Germany. His training methods
and theory are documented in several presentations currently commercially
available on video, CD ROM and DVD. Since 1999, Flinks has been recognized
as a Teaching Helper for his state by the SV.
This will be a return trip to Colorado. We had a great time in 2005 and participants
demanded he come back soon! This is the first time his busy schedule has worked
so that he could return. Early registration is requested for the very limited
number of working places in the seminar. Participants MUST commit to attendance
all three days as we will work progressively on tracking, obedience and protection
work. The fee for three days, including all meals and snacks is $375.00. Full
payment must be made February 1, 2008 to hold a place. Canines brought to
the seminar must meet health requirements specified below.
The Colorado Alpine Schutzhund Club is very pleased that Mr. Flinks has accepted
our invitation to present another training seminar. We look forward to days
spent learning and evenings spent eating, socializing and relaxing.
