Coming from east of Colorado
Take I-70 west to Hwy 24 and head southwest towards Falcon. 9 miles south of Peyton you will come to Woodmen Road which heads west towards the mountains. Just past Woodmen, on Hwy 24 is Meridian. Turn left on Meridian (fire station and gas station are at this corner with a traffic light). Go to Falcon Hwy at the first stop sign and turn left. Go a few miles to Curtis and turn right. Curtis has a flashing yellow caution light and is at the crest of a hill. Go about 2 miles on Curtis to Jones Road and turn left. Go 1.5 miles and turn left on Slocum Road. Slocum Road is just over a hill and you will see a sign indicating a crossroads just over the crest of the road on Jones. Colorado K-9 Acres is the first dirt driveway on your right on Slocum. The buildings are set back from the road in the middle of the property. NOTE: Mapquest shows the address to the south of Jones on Slocum Road, but that is NOT correct. This property is at the NE corner of Jones and Slocum Road as is indicated here by my edited map.
Coming from the west of Colorado
Depending on where you come from, you can come I-70 to Denver and then head south on I-25. Take the Woodmen Rd. Exit off of I-25 and go east (left) until the road ends. The intersection where Woodmen ends is Hwy 24. Go South about 1/8th of a mile to Meridian.Turn left on Meridian (fire station and gas station are at this corner with a traffic light). Coming from south of Colorado
Take I-25 north to the Hwy 24 exit on the south side of Colorado Springs. Follow Hwy 24 NE until you come to Garrett Road. Garrett Road is a few short miles past a large intersection with a light called Constitution. Garrett is notable for huge electrical towers which cross overhead at the intersection. You can only turn right, or east. Follow Garrett Road until it Ts into Curtis Road. From Hwy 24, this is about 5 miles. Turn Right on Curtis Road.Go about 8 tenths of a mile to Jones Road and turn left. Go 1.5 miles and turn left on Slocum Road. Slocum Road is just over a hill and you will see a sign indicating a crossroads just over the crest of the road on Jones. Colorado K-9 Acres is the first dirt driveway on your right on Slocum.
